4 Solar DIY PV Systems

Yiran’s Solar PV Systems A solar electric or photovoltaic (PV) system can be a reliable and pollution-free source of electricity for your home or office. After years of technology development, PV systems are becoming more affordable at the time. Small PV systems also provide a cost-effective power supply in locations where it is expensive or impossible to send electricity through conventional power lines.

Because PV technologies use both direct and scattered sunlight to produce electricity, the solar resource many geographical locations is ample for small solar electric systems. However, the amount of power generated by a solar system at a particular site depends on how much of the solar energy reaches it.

On-grid PV system
While a PV system is capable of powering houses and small businesses without any connection to the electricity grid, many people prefer the advantages that grid-connection offers.
A grid-connected PV system can power a home or small business when the sun is shining. Any excess electricity produced is feed-back into the power grid. If there is no sun, electricity from the grid supplies the needs, thus eliminating the expense of electricity storage devices like batteries.

Off-grid PV system
Stand-alone systems can be more cost-effective than connecting to the grid in remote locations.
Powering homes or small businesses by a small PV system that is not connected to the electricity grid —called a stand-alone system— makes economic sense and appeals to the environmental values.
In remote locations, stand-alone systems can be more cost-effective than extending a power line to the electricity grid. But these systems are also used by people who live near the grid and wish to obtain independence from the power provider or demonstrate a commitment to non-polluting energy sources.

Our systems are ranging from less than 1KW to over 50KW. Please contact us with your specific requirements, and we will try our best to design and supply a reliable and low cost system for you.
